Thank You For The Swims.

Bula All,

The Babale Swim Club memebers had just returned from the Arafura Games in Darwin, Australia where they did exceptionally well. Winning 1 gold, 4 silvers and 4 Bronze medals. Alot of Personal Best Times were posted and most of the swimmer swam in the finals. This was not bad for a club that took alot of newbies for the competition. For most of the swimmers, this was their first time on a plane and out of the country. Imagine the "kaicolo". Well things went all good, except for the accommodation thingy. Well these guys are better swimmers now and hope that they will continue that way.

So with the Courts Carnival just finished, club members that represented their schools did very good.

Congratulations to all the swimmers and to their school and we hope that you will continue your fine form when the grand prix series comes around.

Making New Waves

Ni sa Bula Vinaka and Welcome to the Babale Swim Club Blog

The idea for a club blog came about when a member of the swim team started taking photos during the Nationals at the Aquatic Centre in April of this year. I thought that it would be great if the members could have a site on the internet to view and share photos so here we are.

The main purpose of this site is so members families and friends in Suva and all over the world can view the upcoming club events and catch up on club news and other stuff about Babale Swim Club.

This is supposed to be a fun place and the editorial team will do their best to make this blog a great place to visit. We are still in our infancy as far as blog pages go so please bear with us until we get to grips with presenting a great blog site.

So, welcome to the Babale Swim club blog and we hope you enjoy your visit with us.

J.
